Tantaline® treated applications for corrosion resistance are a higher performing and cost competitive solution compared to specialty alloys like nickel alloys (Hastelloy® C276), titanium, zirconum, and tantalum.
Our main application focus is on auxiliary process equipment for use in extremely corrosive environments where high temperatures, pressures, and concentrations of chemicals like hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), acetic acid, sour gas (H2S), and nitric acid (HNO3) exist.
At Tantaline CVD we link up with leading OEMs and fabricators to supply us with standard stainless steel base parts. These base applications are then converted into the most corrosion resistant products commercially available. Base applications could also be supplied directly by the end-user. Typically we use stainless steel for base applications however other materials may be used.
